The day books give the loading details for the export vessels. Arranged chronologically for each day there is the following:-

i) Name of the ship

ii) The name of the master

iii) Its intended destination

iv) An account of the lead showing the mark, the name of the original owner, the immediate source of the lead (whether it is a named merchant, the wool house or a river vessel whose master is named (see the ticket books at C WW/233-234) and the total number of pigs, pieces and firkins

v) The total lead loaded.

A vessel may appear under two or more days as loading proceeded
