Copies of collected newscuttings relating to installations and openings etc. arranged in chronological order including articles from the 'Illustrated London News', 'The Musical Gazette' and 'Musical World' although in the majority of cases the source of the article is not identified. Includes 'Organ List for 1866' detailing the 28 organs built in that year; description of a visit to the Forster and Andrews factory reprinted by 'The Musical Standard' (27 Nov 1869); advert and article for a lecture by J. A. Forster at the Mechanics Institute (Apr 1852); re-opening of Holy Trinity Church, Hull (May 1855); extensive coverage on the International Exhibition in London in 1862 including letters of complaint that Forster and Andrews were not awarded a medal.
