Individual General Registers for factories and workshops which includes the prescribed forms and certificates of fitness for young persons for employment covering the period of Geo. Reed Ltd., Reed & Mackman and J.J.N. Mackman Ltd. Includes the following details: name, residence, date of first employment, date of birth and cerificate of fitness with date granted or refused for young persons and children (not all sections are complete). Also includes registers of accidents, cases of poisoning, worked carried out painting/limewashing, employment in shop, examination of steam boliers. In some cases not all entries are completed. Insurance details are attached to some registers, in the form correspondence and examination reports.
