- The title page of L DLAB/2 is headed: - 'Collections towards a history of the town, port and county of Kingston upon Hull from the earliest notice thereof, under the name of Wyke to the present time'. It is made up of sections from the histories of Hull by Charles Frost (1781/2-1862) and John Tickell (pub. 1796), with some additional material written by Bromley Wilson-Barkworth. The volume looks at the history of various civic offices in Hull as well as a number of buildings and covers the period from the 1460s to the 1860s. Previous Library reference L.9.7.
