- Reference No:
- L DSPP/1
- Dates:
- Apr 1809-Jun 1820
- Description:
Minutes of the Society from its first meeting in April 1809 including the founders attempts to establish the rules of the Society including fines for individuals who are late or don't attend a meeting. Details of individuals, once elected, and their chosen instrument although no more than 7 members are ever listed.
There is a gap in meetings between July 1809 until May 1817 when the weekly meetings resume until 14 June 1817. The final two entries in January 1818 and June 1820 appear to relate to the winding-up of the Society's accounts.
