States that Lord Bellasis appointed him (Abraham Wharton) to look after the workmen appointed to take down and repair the North Blockhouse and that Lord Bellaisis left command to Colonel Gylby by which all materials belonging to the fort were sold, and money made from them received by him were so much of it was expended about the repairs to make it defensible.
