Letter to Winifred Holtby from Helen Grace Fisher, Winterton, Scunthorpe, Lincs praising 'Anderby Wold', apologisies for 'meandering' and says that Winifred has done for the Yorkshire Wolds what Charlotte Bronte did for the moors, George Eliot did for the Midlands and Arnold Bennett did for Staffordshire's Five Towns. She can see the Wolds around Gardham from her window, they lie in a corner with the Humber to the north, the Trent to the West and the Ancholme to the East, where they farm 'Taties'
