Comprises correspondence related to paper and proposed book, 'Lands Lost to the Sea' (see also U DDB/3/7/11), permission to reproduce images and research questions, including related to Mr C. W. Wing (1971-1974); multiple typed and handwritten edited versions of 'The two earliest maps of Hull', one with photographs, also galley proof of paper with images (Jun 1973) and pamphlet of paper reprinted from Post-Medieval Archaeology (1973); handwritten research notes by various authors with captions for figures; copies of original records, some with transcriptions, including an item in Dutch (1592).

Also includes handwritten draft 'The three earliest maps of Hull and District' with letter suggesting edits (Dec 1971), typed copy of 'A brief outline of the history of the charting of the River Humber' by George de Boer, Yorkshire Naturalists' Trust notes for 1976 (see also U DDB/4), copy of map of East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, notes for contributors to the Yorkshire Archaelogical Journal (1971), Cottingham Local History Society Journal with AGM agenda showing George de Boer giving lecture (Oct 1975) and pamphlet 'The development of Kingston upon Hull as shown through contemporary maps and views' (1973).
