Comprises correspondence related to AA's production of volume 'The Landscape of East Yorkshire' which aimed to be a three volume descriptive atlas of Britain. George de Boer was asked to undertake the northern half of 24 map quadrants covering the Wash to south of Bridlington with Philip Ogden covering the southern half. The volumes were not published due to the economic climate (1979-1980). Includes untitled annotated draft, possibly of George de Boer's contribution with research notes and author guidelines.

Also contains letter from AA asking for permission to forward George de Boer's material to the BBC for their Domesday project (1985); letter from BBC inviting George de Boer to contribute to Domesday project with guidelines for text writing (1985); letter from Countryside Commission about possibility of George de Boer writing 'Wolds Way Official Guidebook' (Apr 1980).
