Contains correspondence from a number of sources including between Yorkshire Naturalists' Trust (YNT) staff and board members, British Transport Docks Board, GT Electrical and Humber Pilots Steam Cutter Co. Ltd (HPSCC).

Topics comprise matters related to Spurn, including maintenance, leases, staffing and permit requests and YNT business including notification of George de Boer's election to YNT Council (May 1968), requests for permission to erect navigation beacon with map and drawing (Sep 1974) and Meteorological Station (May 1975).

Also includes notes of interview discussing tenancy between YNT and HPSCC (Nov 1974) and Defence Land Agent, Catterick (May 1975), plan and draft copy of lease between YNT and HPSCC (c.1974) and planning permission application to convert Tower Building No. 5 to provide radar and control room facilities with plan and decision (1974).
