Contains correspondence to and from various sources including Yorkshire Naturalists' Trust (YNT) and its members, Spurn Bird Observatory (SBO), British Trust for Ornithology, British Isles Bee Breeders' Association and Rothamsted Experimental Station.

Topics include bait digging (1975), asking for support for the building of an interpretative centre at Spurn (Jan 1977), installation of bee hives, Little Terns (Mar 1978), expressing importance of traps at Spurn Head and includes maps showing population changes of certain species (Oct 1972), speed limit being ignored on the Spurn Road (Sep 1974), possible provision of a shop at Spurn (Feb 1975), changes to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) cottages and the re-siting of the Bird Observatory (Dec 1975), article in 'The Angling Times' about night fishing at Spurn (Dec 1970) and repairs to Warren Cottage and the moving of the sea watching hut (Dec 1977).
