- That an action was brought against Richard Butterman, of South Cave, yeoman by Andrew Gibson for stocking Wallingfen without right. That the verdict was given against John Brown who, on the following day, prevailed upon his father-in-law John Brown to execute the lease (as U DDBA/4/229) so that Richard Butterman could stock Wallingfen. That the lease was altered by the deponent at the request of Richard Butterman after its execution.
