- For a year: for 5s.: Richard Wynne esquire and wife Anne and John Baynes esquire and wife Dorothy (formerly Anne and Dorothy Hewley spinsters) to Sir John Hewley, all of York. Two closes pasture and one close meadow, called North Sweemans, with a house 'thereupon buylded .... for the Keeper of the said close' (Cawood Lane S.; lordship of Fenton N.; Flight Ditch from Fenton 'through the lower fox of the said Lane' E.; common lane from North corner of Ress Park to Fenton: Recites lease from Archbishop of York to Anne and Dorothy Hewley (12 Dec 1691).
