Manors of Scarcrofte and Shadwell with 43 messuages, 40 tofts, three watermills, two windmills, four dovecotes, 40 gardens, 80ac. land, 300ac. meadow, 40ac. pasture, 100ac. wood, 200ac. moor, 20ac. marsh and £10 rents in Scarcrofte, Shadwell, Kirkby super Warff, Grimeston, Kirke Fenton and Uske, and a moiety of the manor of Kirkbie super Warff: Died 15 May 1567. Son and heir John A., aged 13 years 66 days. Inquisition at Cawood 27 Sep 1567.
