Bishop Hough demanded 4 turkeys for 4 heriots on the death of Robert Bosvile (1 for messuage and yard land in Bishops Offley, 1 for messuage and 1/2 yard land in Croxton, 1 for messuage and 1/2 yard land in Pershall and 1 for part of 3 burgages in Sherrifs Row) but Robert Bosvile the son 'said he never sent a turkey without a chine [joint of beef] so sent 4 turkeys and 4 chines'
