Letter from Mary Honoria Chichester to Captain Charles Chichester

Reference No:
U DDCH/36/11
Dates:
14 Jan 1826
Description:
Suggests that Charles and Mary stay with them rather than travelling abroad during Charles' leave from the regiment, as it will save money. Charles' father has been ill lately. Writes that she is glad Charles is situated at Manchester, as it is a Catholic town and a much more convenient location for a married man than where he was last stationed. She fears that the Trafford family are now Protestant.
