Long letter. Charles's Aunt had previously asked Charles to give an account of himself in his letters so he writes of his recent experiences. Describes his journey to Halifax. Starting by sea, they were told that their ship was not seaworthy. Once on land again they had to make their way to Halifax as best they could, and Charles describes the extreme weather experienced.
