- Charles writes that he wishes that he could tell his Aunt in detail about their movements but they know as little as they did a few months ago. Describes the country, explaining that there are many lakes and what appears to be one continuous forest of fir trees. Charles was recently at a ball in which everyone was made to sing. Writes that while at Halifax he met Mrs Bradshaw's son.
