- Written in two parts. First, from Charles. Raleigh has received money to buy a horse, suggests he wait until June when he'll be able to afford a good one. Charles states that he went to a dignity ball at Barbados but was disapointed by it. Second, Mary writes that she looks forward to seeing Raleigh again and mentions Mr and Mrs Blount.
