- Charles went with a large party to [Lavennot] to hunt wild cattle. Describes the hunt. Writes that they are plagued by servants in the West Indies. Mary writes of Constance's relationship with her little sister, Amy. The Governor is to give a ball, she expects it will be 'amusing as there shall be coloured people as well as whites'.
