A third part of the manor house, with an orchard, garden and fold; of closes called Lane Close, Gorsie Close, Well Close, Little Close, Over & Nether Ox Closes and Lime Killn Close, with Lime Killn Lane (all which closes are called Cuningry Closes), 2 crofts, Churchyard Close, the Rowe (in 3 parts), Geerholme next Park Milln, and Lady Oke Close (parcel of Parke Groundes); of an old pondstead called Cuningry Over Pond; of the herbage of the lane between Sherland and Hallfieldyate in Sherland --: Recites a conveyance of a third of the manor of Sherland and its appurtenances (of which the premises were part) in Sherland, Alfreton, Southwingfield and Morton from Hon. Henry Howard, second son of Earl of Arundell & Surrey to J.W., J.N. and E.P. for £4000, of which R.G. paid £150.17.1d. (8 February 1658/9).
