a) Grant: John atte Wode of par. Chelleworth to John Pouger: rent of 6 marks from his lands and tenements in Wodeland in the said parish: Given at Eycote, Friday after St. Barnabas apostle 9 Ric. II. 15 June 1386

b) Acknowledgement by John Pouger to John atte Wode of par. Cheddelworth: that the rent as (a) was only granted as collateral security for title of J.P. to the manor of Eicote, co. Glos.; and to indemnify him against any costs he, his heirs or assigns, might be put to in defending that title against claims of or under J. atte W.: Given at Eicote, co. Glos. translation St. Edward king and martyr 9 Ric. II (Presumably second translation). 20 June 1386

c) Similar Acknowledgement to (b) by John Pouger: that John atte Wode is not bound by the Final Concord as U DDEV/36/17 to warrant him against any claims to the manor of Eicote based on the gift from Sir John Russell to Robert Crook and wife Margery (as in U DDEV/36/9): Given at London, St. Barnabas apostle 9 Ric. II. 11 June 1386
