Easterly part of his messuage, from the first props ('a primariis stantibus') in the W. part of the cowshed and stable to the S. door, with the cowshed, the old hall and the new grange; the whole of the cultivated parcel beneath the donor's court with the headlands, and moiety of all his lands and tenements in Westrasen, everywhere towards the S.; the watermill and adjacent croft; homage from lands sometime of John de Hotham; donor's homage and rents of Glenteworth: Rendering 60 quarters of grain a year to donor for his life (i.e. 20 quarters of wheat at Michaelmas; 20 quarters of barley at purification B.V.M.; 10 quarters of wheat and 10 quarters of beans at Pentecost). Donor to grind his corn at the said mill for life, free of multure. Witn.
