For settling action of ejectment rising out of Marriage Settlement of R. & J.H. (20/21 May 1799) and a previous Settlement (20/22 August 1789) by which certain lands at Skipwith were assigned to J.P.T., second cousin of J.H.: main provisions are that J.P.T. shall not reside within a mile of mansion house at Skipwith occupied by R. & J.H. without their permission in writing; J.P.T. to release and confirm to J.B. lands and tithes at Skipwith; J.P.T. to have peaceful possession of other estates at Skipwith; J.P.T. to make over his estate under the recited Marriage Settlement to George Palmes of Naburn and Samuel Nicoll; J.P.T. to have annuity of £400 after deaths of R. & J.H. subject to specified conditions.
