- House being built at Helmsley by Etty for the Duke (of Buckingham?); 'a violent fever was fot among the Prisonirs at York. the Court still demurs upon returning to London, though all caire possible bee taken to clense it of infection. Others make no scruple of passing & repassing as frequent as the Tids. Wee heare the Duch have sent out 30 Men of Warr to intercept our merchants that are gon Eastward, with a convoy of 10 ships. My Lord Duke stays here about a fortnight or perhaps as long as the Court but will not follow it to London.'
