I pay yu my sincere thanks for yr protection & repeated favors & I humbly beseech yu to believe yt with the best understanding I have I will ever honour you in the acknowlwdgeing of them, there was not yt night in our travels homeward yt wee drunk not yr health, & the journey ended not without the disaster of being overturn'd the last day 2 myles from Doncaster before day upon a daingerous bank ye coach was broken to pieces in the fall Sr Jno. Hotham a little bruised his arme and my boy his side wch was god be thanked all the damage we recd. Wee talke mch of a new Parlt & at York they have named several Competitors for their represent.
