- Description:
- Have been sitting 'upon Baron Page' and it is proved he promised £600 for the election. Encloses U DDHO/57/66, 'a foolish letter', in proof he 'would sooner die than make a separate interest from you'. He only asked the Governor to ask Sir W.S. to persuade his son not to stand.
