Relates to a case pursued in the Jamaican Court of Chancery against William Stevenson on behalf of the two daughters and co-heiresses of James Scarlett, i.e. Elizabeth Virgo Scarlett and Mary James Scarlett. Includes inventories of enslaved people, stock, real and personal estate; and lists of transactions from the death of James Scarlett junior to December 1800.
