- Recites a gift to him by Sir Thomas de Sywardbi of all his lands & tenements in Yorkshire, subject to an annual rent of 25 marks for life of Sir T. Sir W. now grants that Sir T. may distrain on his lands in Neuton near Wintringham if the rent is ever in arrears for 15 days. He also undertakes to maintain John, son of Sir T., and Margaret daughter of Sir Thomas de Playce, and their issue in all necessaries according to their degree. Given at Neuton Playce, Wed. after Mich. 1355.
