For defeasance of a Bond in £20 from Thomas to John payable at Christmas next, on condition T. causes J. to have attornment of the tenants of all lands & tenements which Walter de Osgodby & his wife Maude lately held of Sir Robert in Camelsford & Carleton near Snayth, and then in the hands of Robert de Pikeryng & the said Maude 'sa compaigne', by which attornment he would be seised of the rents & services of the said tenements within the next 3 years; or that he would cause him to be seised of 15s. of land or rent in a suitable place. Otherwise T. to pay J. £10 within the period of the Bond: Given at York. Seal, a bearded man's head in profile to the left, a fillet round his forehead. 'S. JOHAN.....', broken.
