Description:
(i) Sir James Pykeryng, Thomas Ursswyk esq., and his daughter Dame Kateryn and (ii) Dame Elizabeth Sewerby, William Vavasour son of Henry Vavasour esq., dec'd., and Lawrence Kyghley gent.: on marriage of W.V. and Isabell widow of Averey Mauleverer (to take place before ensuing Pentecost): (a) Parties as U DDPA/14/2(i) within 3 months after the wedding to make an estate to the couple and heirs of their bodies, of lands of £20 clear yearly value; with remainder to heirs of W.V. (b) W.V., within same period, to have an estate of 10 marks clear yearly value from dower lands of I.M. (c) W.V. to be solely possessed of goods and chattels of 600 marks value (d) W.V. to give to Piers Bank and his wife Kateryn (mother of I.M.) such sum of money for goodwill as shall be appointed by parties as U DDPA/14/2(i) (e) Parties as U DDPA/14/2(i) covenant that all lands in co. York held by T.V. which were some time of his wife Jenett (grandmother of I.M.) shall after his death descend to I.M. (excepting lands in Wechsshyngton, Gyllyng and Barnynggam in Rychemondeshyre of which I.M. is already seised; and that such lands and those which shall descend to I.M. after the deaths of T.V. and his daughter Dame K. shall be of the clear yearly value of 40 marks. (f) Parties as U DDPA/14/2(i) bound in £100 for performance (g) Parties as U DDPA/14/2(ii) bound in £200 for performance.
