- R.A. to convey to B.P. 7 messuages, 4 mease-steads or tofts, 35ac. arable and 3ac.1r. meadow in Naburn; also a moiety of 2 messuages with appurtenant lands sometime in tenure of Wylliam of Tankard and Thomas Cowper, of which R.A. is tenant by curtesy, providing his son and heir Rawf (by his late wife Margrete) agrees on coming of age. B.P. to convey to R.A. 44ac. land and pasture lying in 7 closes on the S. side of Naburn Wood; 18ac. (close of R.A. called Neder Elde N., moor and waste of B.P. called Byrkare Bushez S.); and 3ac.1r. meadow in the Southe Eyngez of Naburn. B.P. to grant to R.A. common in 2 moors between Naburn and Dighton (i.e. one between the Groundrydding and the Southe Wood; the other between Byrkare and the Nethereld) for 12 cattle, 6 horses, 60 sheep and 6 swine (provision for ages and following). Since the lands R.A. is to receive are of less value than those to go to B.P., B.P. to grant 44s. rent to him until he conveys to him land of equal value to be decided by agreement. B.P. to cause Wylliam Chapman of Naburn to convey to R.A. 10ac. in Gilerydding. Sir Guy Fairfax named as arbitrator if needed.
