- Custody of moiety of manor of Neuton subtus Ounesbergh; with 2 messuages, 3 waste cottages and 16 bovates; and a messuage, a cottage, a close, and 5 bovates in Snaynton, sometime of Margaret, widow of Sir Thomas de Boynton in dower, with reversion to Sir Henry de Boynton. Sir H. de B. having rebelled against the Crown at Berwick on Tweed, 20 July 1405, he was, for his rebellion and for detaining the castle there, condemned to death; on which the reversion of the premises was forfeit to the crown: Rendering yearly 100s. for the moiety of the manor, 48s. for the premises in Boynton, and 40s. for the premises in Snayton, as extended by Thomas de Santon, escheator in Yorks., together with 52s. for the increase; and maintaining buildings on the premises
