Description:

Contains a bond between Alexander Ditcher and John Boreman dated 1696; the other items in the scrapbook are mainly newspaper cuttings relating to East Sutton, Kent (1870s and 1880s), ephemera relating to Sir Edmund Filmer's election victories (1859 and 1880) and his commission in the Grenadier Guards (1855), and photographs (late 19th cent.). Some of the photographs are of East Sutton while others appear to be purchased souvenirs.
