That all her weirs and stakes in River Hull shall be removed, so that boats might pass to Beverley. Reserving the right to fix a chain across the river at Stanford Rakes in times of war or disturbance, from sunset to sunrise; and to take soil from the river to repair the bank called Sedik: For which he gives her 6 marks silver yearly rent in Waghen, out of the 100s. due there from Meaux Abbey.
