Note that this lecture was given whilst Professor Gray was in Japan to receive the Kyoto Prize in Kyoto and was working as a research consultant for Merck Lt, Poole Dorset. File also contains a membership list for the Engineering Academy of Japan showing that Gray was a foreign associate member in 1997.
