Series contains letters, postcards, greetings cards and notes sent to Monica Jones by various individuals, including her mother, Philip Larkin (photocopies), Kitty Larkin, Andrew Motion, Anthony Thwaite and Maeve Brennan.

Arrangement note: The letters were extremely disordered, found scattered amongst other papers across several boxes, excepting that a large sequence of letters from Jones' mother were bundled together. In order to facilitiate researchers searching for material, an artifical arrangement has been created taking a lead from the little evidence of original order that remains. Files have been created to group together letters from a single individual, however, these have not been sorted into chronological order to maintain evidence of the disordered nature of the collection.
