- Black and white glass lantern slides relating to the work of the Mission to Seafarers. Enclosed is a letter dated 23 Apr 1938 from G.L. Parnell to Reverend I. Pallister regarding the slides and their loan to Reverend Grant, also a list of slides left with Grant and later handed to Pallister which does not constitute a full list of the slides present in this box. Note that the slides were originally stored in a wooden slide box with a small brass label aperture containing a piece of card reading 'The Rev C. Grant 52 Christchurch Road, Ipswich', and that the slides were repackaged whilst the box was removed and disposed of for conservation reasons.
