Journal kept by Reverend Nibbs whilst working as a Missions to Seamen chaplain in Calcutta, India. Enclosures: photographs, including one of crewmen and a chapel in Calcutta; newspaper cuttings; weather chart showing pressure and wind observations and rainfall 15-16 May 1914; letters glued into the volume. Note: Nibbs served as Chaplain in Calcutta, Honorary Chaplain with the Calcutta Port Defence Volunteer Corps, Chaplain at Hull, and Chaplain of the Belgian Coast Ports.
