Journal kept by Reverend Nibbs whilst working as a Missions to Seamen chaplain in Belgium. Enclosures: journal entry re eclipse of the sun on 8 Apr 1921; photograph of Nibbs taken in Hull, c.1918-1919; photographs, including a crowd of seamen (names of individuals given); newspaper cuttings; plan of Dunkirk Harbour and Docks; currency from various countries (French, Austro-Hungarian Empire and Germany). Note: Nibbs served as Chaplain in Calcutta, Honorary Chaplain with the Calcutta Port Defence Volunteer Corps, Chaplain at Hull, and Chaplain of the Belgian Coast Ports.
