- Series contains records, including minutes, registers of directors, correspondence, annual balance sheets, and subject files, created by the trustees and officers of the Dunkirk War Memorial Trust Limited. The trust was responsible for the governance of the Dunkirk War Memorial seafarers' institute. Historically, the holder of the office of General Secretary of the Mission to Seafarers (formerly the Missions to Seamen) was appointed as one of the directors of the trust. Most of the papers in this series appear to date to the period in which Stuart Knox served in this office and as secretary of the directors of the Dunkirk War Memorial Trust.
