Includes references to: involvement of Father McGuiness of the Apostlship of the Sea, Reverend Noel Clarke of the British Sailors' Society, and Reverend Tom Kerfoot of the Missions to Seamen in drafting the prayer book; Geoffrey Shrives' comments on a draft of the prayer book; need for approval of the final version by all ecclesiastical authorities involved.
