Includes references to: liner and cruise ship activity; SPCK having been responsible for ministry to passengers on the high seas for many years, and a decision by the Missions to Seamen that they can now take on this type of work; SPCK to hand over this ministry to the society as of 1 Jan 1966; cost of this ministry to the SPCK had been £4000-£5000 per annum; parcels of literature to continue to be supplied by the SPCK for a period of two years from 1966; voyage chaplains for migrant ships; ministry to welcomed by P&O onboard their cruise ships; business relating to the Church on the High Seas no longer to be dealt with by the Candidates Committee, Dec 1967; Reverend S. Roberts appointed to take over responsibility for this work from Reverend V. Castle.
