Includes references to the following: visits and dates of reliefs to Longstone; Mrs Grainger and Mrs B.A. Bower as parent group leaders; names of keepers and assistant keepers; Christmas parcels for the lighthouse; situation re Missions to Seamen chaplaincy to Longstone; death of Mrs Grainger in 1956 at which point she had been sending Christmas hampers to Longstone since 1926 under the Missions' adoption scheme; activities during WWII.
