Parnell as secretary of the Lightships and Lighthouses Committee of the Missions to Seamen. Includes references to the following: Skokham being relieved by the Holyhead steamer 'Beacon'; Skokham 'adopted' by a group led by Hebblethwaite in 1938; names of keepers at the lighthouse; recommendation of 1 parent group member per lightkeeper; packets and letters for lightkeepers; Mrs Jervis-Edwards having previously been the 'Parent' for Skokham; Christmas hampers; issues with letter writing between parent members and lightkeepers; shoeboxes for lightkeepers; Trinity House vessel 'Argus'; relief trips to change crew; retirement of Hebblethwaite as a parent leader in December 1963.
