- File relates to Mullin's campaigning against the proposed reintroduction hangings for prisoners under the death penalty in a number of Caribbean countries including Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica and Belize. Note that Mullin introduced an early days motion (no.802) in June 1999 urging the Jamaican government to abandon the death penalty. Mullin had received letters from prisoners all over the world as a result of his work with the Brimingham Six case, and received a large amount of letters from prisoners on death row in various Caribbean countries. Contains correspondence between Mullin and various colleagues and contacts including Saul Lehrfreund who was involved with the Commonwealth Caribbean Death Penalty Project. Also contains background reading reports and papers, draft press releases, press cuttings, UN ID badge with Mullin's details and photograph.
