Mainly discusses Joyce Cary's novel 'The Horse's Mouth'; and the Fortune Press agreeing to publish 'Jill', which Larkin wants to dedicate to Sutton. Refers to the writing of his novel ('A Girl in Winter'). (3pp). Contains illustration entitled `Studio Scene', of Larkin with his feet through two of Sutton's canvasses, and Sutton ripping up one of Larkin's ms(s). Part is printed in the Selected Letters, p. 99.
