Description:
Mainly rails against marriage, making reference to D. H. Lawrence and Thomas Hardy. Refers to an article he began writing on Lawrence's idea of 'freedom'. Has been re-reading Sutton's letters, following his journey through the army to becoming a tramp. (6pp). Contains an illustration of Larkin trying to escape from a soldier and the atom bomb. Part is printed in the Selected Letters, pp. 165 - 166.
