Description:
Written over two days, describes a show featuring Arthur Askey and the RAOC Blue Rockets Dance Band, and later describes the music by a band called the Squadronairs. Discusses films, mainly 'Scarface'; Earl and Achsah Brewster's 'D.H. Lawrence: Reminiscences and Correspondence' and H. G. Wells' 'Joan and Peter'; and refers to C zanne and sculpture. (10pp). Ends letter with an illustration of a figure (himself?) being attacked by a painter with a palette knife and a sculptor with a chisel.
