Discusses records, in particular 'Indiana' and two of the players on it, Higgie and Allen. Comments on the nature of 'mateyness' as oppose to friendship, in response to a letter he received from Norman (Iles). Is abandoning his story. (12pp). Contains an illustration of Larkin stood drinking at a bar. Part is printed in the Selected Letters, pp. 29 - 30.
